From the Pastor's Desk...

This weekend we conclude anything that has to do with Christmas as we remember The Presentation of the Lord in the Temple. Sometimes this has been called “little Christmas” by some. Jesus is presented in the temple; he is a holy man who give us his life, his suffering, and then his resurrection! Jesus gives each of us his love and mercy—and ultimately our salvation. I pray that this entire Christmas time has been one that has brought you closer to Jesus. May you continue to deepen your personal relationship with Jesus.

Once again, I would like to thank you for your kindness shown to Deacon Peter Robinson and his family at the time of his death. Last week we had literally, hundreds of people come to the wake here in church. The outpouring of your love, concern and support for Deacon Peter and his family was very touching and humbling. Your presence at the wake and the funeral mass is so thoughtful and kind. May God bless you and help you in anything that you may need. Death is part of everyday life; and yet the world we live in today trivializes death. As followers of Jesus, we know we live our live here on earth to do the will of God. May our lives here, one day lead us into eternal life where we will join the angels and saints.

Peace……..Fr. Jeff
