This Tuesday, February 11, we remember Our Lady of Lourdes. It is also World Day of the Sick. We are reminded of the many miracles that have taken place at Lourdes. We are encouraged to pray for healing for ourselves and for others. If you are able, go on the internet and look up Lourdes; there are some beautiful vides of the church, people and the candle-light procession that takes place. It is indeed a peaceful inspiration for everyone.
Thank you for your prayerful and financial support for our 2025 Catholic Ministries Annual Appeal. Your generosity has put us over our goal every year! Last year we received 3 rebate checks that we deposited into our parish savings account. Many of you (such as myself) have already received the information from the Diocese. Yes, we will also have the “sign-up” Sunday coming up as usual. This is a good opportunity to be an active participant in the bigger church. The different ministries are an extension of each parish in the diocese. No one parish could do all of them; but together we do make a difference.
