The Epiphany of the Lord. Jesus shows himself, people see him, and lives are forever changed. On this Epiphany, how might we allow Jesus to touch us? How might our lives be changed by the Son of God? We are reminded today, that our personal relationship with Jesus is very important. He comes to all of us, no matter who we are. The invitation is for us to look at and answer. May we always be faithful knowing Jesus is with us all the time.
We welcome our new music director, Chris Gualberto. Chris and his family reside here in Lombard and have been members of the parish for a number of years now. Chris has had past experience with working in the Archdiocese of Seattle and Chicago. He has most recently been a member of our choir and playing the piano and organ at our Saturday 4:00 mass.
THANK YOU to all who have helped our Christmas season. Many of you are involved in the liturgical ministries, some of you have kept our beautiful poinsettias going by watering them and picking up dead leaves every day! Most of all it is your presence and active participation in the Christmas liturgies that makes this a joyful experience as we celebrate the birth of Jesus, the Light of the World. Thank you for being here.
